Ethanol in Brazil

Interesting article from the WSJ on Brazil's success in using ethanol as a replacement to gasoline. The development of a fuel-flexible engine makes a lot of sense. F-T diesel could be to the US what ethanol is to Brazil...producing ethanol in the US would likely come from corn, which this article points out, is more costly than using sugarcane directly.
